This is relevant because it was four years after Eye of the Beholder II: Legend of Darkmoon, more than three-and-a-half years behind Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss and less than a year ahead of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, all of which were vastly superior to it in every meaningful way. Stonekeep, which can be purchased at GOG for $5.99, was originally released in late 1995. A relative latecomer to the classic age of dungeon crawlers, Stonekeep is a snoozefest that pales in comparison to other titles of the era. Again, all walkthroughs say to just walk right through where I am now as if there was not a wall there.We continue our month of RPGs with Stonekeep. If nothing else is possible, and I am truly stuck here forever, is there a way to edit savegame files to place me in a different level? Maybe a way to have my character start somewhere else? a noclip cheat? I searched the 5 pages or so here and no one else has had this issue of a wall being here. Is there a way out? I checked every wall for possible push-throughable walls, checked every wall for buttons, and used Afri's Orb to see any possible ways through that I had missed. I can go down a level into The Pits into the area where the Wolf Key, Poison Resistance Ring, and Magickal Shield are located, but my only way up leads me to this dead end area. My older saves are in this area, too, so, loading an older save is not possible.

It is possible I did not press some button before going into this area and now am forever stuck here because of it. Reading some walkthroughs, it seems the wall I am looking at is NOT supposed to be here. See attached picture of where I am in the game. I fear I am permanently stuck in a small area between The Gate of the Ancients and The Pits.
